Favorite Music for Training: No music. Just pain. (Kidding, I do watch TV a lot while on the trainer.)
Rider Extras
I am always up for a challenge, tend to get a little extreme in whatever I do. Starting serious bike riding in 2009. Seems to be a good outlet for my competitiveness. Used to snowboard on a national level.
Other sports I have competed on a pretty good level is Orienteering, Underwater Rugby, Stair climbing races, obstacle courses. Qualified for the World Championships in Firefighter Combat Challenge in 2005.
Nowadays also dabble in triathlons, cross-fit, adventure racing and cross-country skiing. And Scrabble. My high score is 460.
